ADHD Support

Why people seek help:

Individuals often seek ADHD counseling when struggling with focus, organization, impulsivity, restlessness, or low self-esteem related to these challenges. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been living with ADHD symptoms for years, therapy can significantly enhance your daily functioning and overall quality of life.

What to expect:

Therapy will help you develop effective coping mechanisms, organizational skills, and strategies to manage attention and impulsivity. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how ADHD affects your life and learn personalized techniques to harness your strengths, improve productivity, and enhance your emotional wellbeing.

FAQs
1) Do you provide ADHD diagnosis?
As of right now, I focus on counselling and skills. If a formal diagnosis is needed, I can coordinate referrals and integrate recommendations into therapy.

2) What does ADHD counselling cover?
Time management, task initiation, planning, working memory supports, emotional regulation, and systems for school/work.

3) Do you work with adults and teens?
Yes. We tailor strategies to your context—home, school, work—and involve caregivers as appropriate for minors.

4) Can you prescribe medication?
No. I am not qualified to prescribe medication. With your consent, your family doctor and I can work to align behavioural strategies with medical care.

5) How long until I see results?
Most people see quick wins as they implement small changes (calendars, checklists, cueing systems); sustaining them brings the biggest gains.
